Currently, many of our products are made with molds, which can improve production efficiency. Many friends have also inquired about the principles for selecting stamping molds? Below, the Science and Technology Innovation Editor will briefly introduce it to everyone.
Principles for selecting stamping molds:
1. Firstly, it is necessary to consider whether the straight line to be stamped is greater than or equal to 1.5 times the side length of the stamping die for the set square die under the "selection of stamping die". When analyzing the inner side of the circular stamping curve, the diameter of the arc to be stamped is greater than the diameter of the stamping die. If so, the set stamping die is used.
2. The contours that can be classified into basic shapes are first searched in the stamping die library for stamping molds that are completely consistent with the contours and can be punched out with a single stamping action. If there are such molds, the stamping molds set under "Select stamping mold" will be ignored and the searched stamping molds will be used directly.
3. For rectangular contours, when the long side is greater than or equal to 1.5 times the short side, it will automatically search for a square stamping die that is consistent with the short side of the rectangle. For long circular grooves or circular grooves, it will search for a circular stamping die with the same slot width. If there is, it will be used directly. If the stamping die is not determined after the above two steps, it will be considered to use a square or circular stamping die to step punch straight lines or arcs.
4. If the set stamping die is not suitable, the system will search for square or circular stamping dies from small to large in the stamping die library, and use a line that meets the requirements that the straight line to be stamped is greater than or equal to 1.5 times the side length of the stamping die.
The above four points are about the principles of selecting stamping molds, and I will briefly introduce them to you here. I hope it will be helpful for you to choose your own suitable mold in the future.
